Based out of Selma, AL
Candidates must live in the Selma, AL area
Interviewing immediately
Expected start date within 2-4 weeks of interview
This is a permanent, full-time position
1. Perform monthly maintenance on microwave sites:
1. Check and log microwave radio monthly information
2. Check and log base station (VHF)
3. Check data base radios (track control)
4. Check generator operation
5. Check site voltages (commercial and DC created in site)
6. Verify alarms and correct operation with control center
7. Verify that local mux is working properly
8. Keep site clean inside--- mopping , dusting, etc
9. Make building repairs as needed
10. Keep site exterior clean and weeds controlled
2. On-call duties after training:
1. Be on-call for troubles---four (4) hour response to site--two weeks per month, including weekends and holidays
2. Respond to customer equipment outages--traffic effecting, etc---24/7


FCC GROL license, will have 6 months from hire to obtain license
Two year degree / military school / equivalent
Be able to lift 75 pounds
Computer literate
Maintain vehicle and test equipment
Must be able to interface with internal and external customers without issue
Understand basic electronics--ac/dc, ohms law, relays, terminations, understand systems
Be able to learn microwave and two-way technology
Understand decibel measurement and all its uses; test equipment that uses such

Must have valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance
Company truck provided
OJT for customer-specific systems

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
