Description: Responsible for leading and directing the Sheetroom GM
Maintenance Team. Expected to manage in a goal-oriented environment to
deliver target results in the areas of safety, employee engagement, and
Reliability Excellence. Lead efforts to troubleshoot problems,
establish root cause of failure, design and implement improvements in
equipment and systems which lead to ongoing improvements in mechanical
reliability. Assure effective planning to achieve timely repairs.
Conduct 1-1s with employees to provide guidance and development.
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Engineering or related field preferred, 2-year technical
degree acceptable. Completion of Leadership Development Training
preferred (ie. FLL Certification). 3 to 5 years experience in a
manufacturing environment, preferably in GM maintenance and sheeting
perations.
Must have strong leadership skills and a proven track record of
improving employee engagement. Demonstrated ability to effectively
communicate, set expectations, build effective team, drive for results,
measure work and hold teams and individuals accountable.
Competencies: Action Oriented, Functional/Technical Skills, Building
Effective Teams, Conflict Management, Listening, Informing, Managerial
Courage, Command Skills, Confronting Direct Reports.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
