We are dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment and are looking for a talented Maintenance Manager to join our team at our Renewable Feedstock Pretreatment Plant.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production facility.
The ideal candidate will lead the maintenance team, manage equipment repairs, develop preventive maintenance strategies, and collaborate with vendors to optimize maintenance processes.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the maintenance team in a liquid manufacturing environment.
Oversee electrical repairs, pump and motor repairs, control valve and instrumentation repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Implement manufacturer recommended preventative maintenance programs.
Train Maintenance staff on best practices for repairs and troubleshooting.
Strong proficiency with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), with PLC programming skills as a strong plus.
Work within a functioning production facility, including climbing stairs and other physically demanding tasks.
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Maintain a critical spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with maintenance and repair vendors to ensure cost-competitive solutions.
Manage the maintenance budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure safety and compliance with all maintenance activities.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Plant Manager.
Qualifications:
5
years of proven experience in managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in electrical repairs and maintenance.
Strong experience with pump and motor repairs and maintenance.
Proficiency with PLCs (PLC programming skills a strong plus).
Ability to work in a functioning production facility and handle physically demanding tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
Engineering or related experience strongly preferred.
Hours of Operation:
Plant will be manned and operate 24/7/365; Potential overtime as needed How to Apply:
